(Upper Right) Dr. Desai holds up a photo of a child who suffers from acute malnutrition. Only 5% of the world's 20 million children suffering from severe acute malnutrition are receiving treatment.

Symptoms of the disease are intense vomiting and profuse watery diarrhea leading to dehydration which, unless immediately treated, may be fatal.

  • Art must be received by October 15, 2008. It can be mailed/shipped if local to Los Angeles or
    picked up by or on that date.
  • Please donate work, preferred valued at least at $500. Bidding targeted to begin at $200, though some items may be targeted at less.
  • Preferred submission: What you would like to submit OR that addresses one of these themes OR you feel expresses the spirit of either of them:

    • The work of Doctors Without Borders
